Meet Dr. Amir Naffi, DMD Founder of Sunnah Smiles
Dr. Amir Naffi was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where his passion for health, fitness, and helping others first took root. He went on to attend Baldwin Wallace College, where he majored in Exercise Science and played collegiate football, combining academic excellence with athletic discipline.
Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding of the human body and prepare for a career in healthcare, Dr. Naffi earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Louisville, where he was trained in comprehensive, patient-centered care.
To further expand his clinical skills—particularly in surgery and advanced procedures—Dr. Naffi completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Kentucky. There, he focused on oral surgery, implant dentistry, and sedation techniques.
Outside the office, Dr. Naffi maintains an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing basketball, lifting weights, and training in mixed martial arts. These hobbies not only keep him sharp and disciplined but also reflect his lifelong commitment to wellness and high performance.
